The Solar Heater - From strange thoughts to the champion of the class!

Today I am so happy that my group's solar heater was the best (or the most efficient one) in my class!
At the very beginning, when the Physics teacher told us about this project, I felt excited about making a real one! At that moment, I figured out a model with curved design. And after doing some researches, I was sure that using curve design is the best one, so that I chose my old broken yellow umbrella to be the main body. However, my dearest Physics teacher, questioned me a lot about my design and idea. I tried my best to explain the reasons, but seemed that he was not understand. I was a bit angry and sad because I could not believe I idea was that bad in his mind! And here is the link which ensured me of the main design of the solar heater.
Whatever, I didn't care about his comments. I just followed my own idea to build the solar heater. And it was quite hard during the process because it was really hard to break an umbrella!!
I used about half an hour to cut off all of those metal rods!
With two helping hands of my dad and mom, I could make the shape of the solar heater within 8 hours! I was so happy about that! :D
Just finished making the stand of the can for heating up the water before I sleep.
And it could keep standing for a whole night! That's surprising! :D
And then, I finished the remaining parts of the solar heater with my group mates, Jenfer, Brian and Coco. All of them were so helpful that they did a lot of things for me such as cutting more plastic rods, aluminium foil and painting the can. If they did not help me to do those procedures, I think that I would not be able to finish it! Thanks a lot!
Painting the stand of the can. Thanks Coco! <3
Wrapping the inner surface by aluminium foil. Thanks Coco again! :D
Adding  an additional wall, wrapping the outer surface by a  black plastic rubbish bag. Thanks a lot, Brian!! XD
Actually, Jenfer did something too, but I didn't take photos of the jobs she had done... Sorry, Jenfer! ><
And today is the day of the solar heater competition. I was nervous and excited at the same time. Before the starting time, all of us made many amendments to improve its performance. Jenfer helped us to take the solar heater out of the laboratory to start the competition. After an hour, she took it back. All of us were surprised that the can was warm! When the Physics teacher measured the temperature of the water from the can, its infra-red thermometer showed its reading: 37.2 degree Celsius! I was so happy at that moment. Even I jumped and screamed! Of course, I became even more crazy and happy because my group's reading was the highest among the class! Although my DEAREST  Physics teacher still complained about the outlook of it, I was still so happy. Because it showed that his bad comments of my idea were TOTALLY WRONG and FAIL!! THE CURVED DESIGN IS NOT THAT BAD! MY IDEA IS NOT THAT BAD!
AT last, I need to say another thank you to all of my group mates. Without supporting and helping me, I would not be able to build this solar heater and perform well. Love you~ <3

PS. Sorry that I could not take the picture of the final product, and I will post it as I can get back it! @0@

The field trip of Museum of Coastal Defence

  Today's field trip was... SPEECHLESS~
This morning, I went to Shau Kei Wan with my friends to attend the field trip. Many of my classmates were there, too~ When we arrived the museum, there was a tour guide who told us many things about the history of the museum and the weapons they were showing. All of them were so awesome, and I took lots of photos of them. Then, the tour guide brought us to a place which placed a large canon, and there was a tunnel beside it. My friend wanted to go inside, but I didn't because I was afraid of that kind of horrible places! Even my history teacher laughed at me. At last, I went inside with my friend... :P But when we went down there, some of my classmates were in front of me, which made me feel so scared. I tried to walk faster and faster, and try to escape from that freaking tunnel...
I hate this place~ ><

After that, we also visited many historical attractions. And we also watched a video in the museum!

I like the moments with my friends, looking forward to another interesting and exciting field trip! XD

The passed Westlife Concert... SO UNFORGETTABLE!

Last Saturday, I went to my first, and the last concert of Westlife. I was so excited and nervous because I could see them in LIVE!!! Although I sat at the last few rows, which was so far away from the stage, I didn't feel sad about that. I had waited for 45 minutes, and they came out! The atmosphere of the stadium was so high that everyone was screaming! Of course, me too~ :D And they started to sing many classic songs, I tried my best to follow them to sing all of the songs. However, they sang a song and I had never heard about it!!! I just sat back down and think about this STRANGE song.
Of course, I am not a super Westlife fan, but I am sure that I have listened most of their songs... Anyway, they kept singing many their hit songs and we were so hyper. I didn't have a glow stick, but I wanted to use something which could replace it. So I took out my phone, and use the FLASHLIGHT to treat it as a glow stick! I thought that it was really funny and interesting. I am sure that I will use the same method in the coming concerts that I will go to, like GAGA!! Haha~
But I was thinking about why they still didn't sing 'Uptown Girl', and the concert was going to the end... I was upset because they seemed not to sing it. Of course, there was a encore part, and they sang 'Uptown Girl'!! Finally!! Everyone clapped their hands hardly and try to follow them singing this amazing song. And that was the best part in this awesome concert!!!!!
And that's the concert. I knew that they would not come back to Hong Kong as the group of 'Westlife', and they would not to have concerts anymore... This are just my guesses. :P But I know that the spirit of them will never die!

This is it! :D I love this shirt so much, but my mom told me that the quality of the clothes was not really good... I think I need to keep it well and not to wear it frequently... :S

PS. I just bought one thing from the concert, because they did not have commemorative values (just some old albums and an ugly poster)...
